With climate change being at the forefront of today’s discourse, incorporating environmental education (EE) and green competences into curriculum is a hot topic. However, although we are seeing an increase in EE in elementary and secondary school syllabi, there is a distinct lack of it in vocational training – and that is precisely what DEED project wants to change.
The DEED project aims to raise awareness of green competences and provide VET educators with useful resources to integrate the teaching of green competences in their classes with an innovative digital approach.
The resources offered to educators will take the form of microlessons, an effective and increasingly popular methos to deliver bite-size chunks of knowledge. In addition, the project will explore the use of microcertification in the vocational context.
